Presenting a research project can be a daunting task. I am confronted with the challenge of making a compelling presentation for my project.  I will ensure that I carefully determine my audience. My presentation method will be captivating to leave an excellent impression on the public. I will make sure that the presentation of my research statement is relevant to the topic and audience to leave a good impression. My research presentation will target the right audience, use excellent methodologies and the goal of the research statement will be precise.

There are several ways I could determine my audience. I would first ensure that I identify the people that my project ideas ought to reach. Secondly, I would make sure that I identify people who would be interested in the topic I intend to put across. In that case, my audience would consist of the tutor in addition to fellow students. The first tip I would utilize for an excellent presentation would be to time it (Adams, 2004). I would make sure that I speak clearly for my audience to hear the points I put across. My PowerPoint would have limited words on every slide to make sure that the message put across is direct. I would ensure that my presentation is done in the lecture format. Using the lecture format, I would focus on PowerPoint slides. The choice lies in the fact that PowerPoint presentations organize information professionally. PowerPoint presentations animate slides to give them a better visual impact.

In presenting my research statement, I would avoid using complicated terminologies. I would begin with a long-term goal that would give my audience an idea of what to expect during the presentation (Arends, 2014). Using simple words would make my information to be easily understood (Surrette&College, 2002). I would use brief points to see to it that the audience remains interested and does not lose focus.

Research project presentation requires planning. People who would like to make a successful presentation must carefully determine their audience. The performance ought to use a method that promotes the understanding of the public. Research statements must be presented in a way that helps the audience not to lose focus.
