Lancey, your state provides a good definition of health and wellness. The feelings and the experiences you have endured are phenomenal growth in understanding the dimensions of health as well as the decisive orientation to maintain a state of well-being. According to Donatolle (2019), stressors such as illness, living conditions, psychological and physical impairments, and economic status create a unique personality that can utilize its optimal levels to achieve wellness. However, such perceptions can be helpful only if a person can develop self-efficacy towards attaining a balanced state of mind, body, and spirit. In this regard, I agree with you that physical fitness is a limited expression of health based on the potential portrayed by most of the differently-abled people around the world.

Response to Student B (Erin)

Erin, you have highlighted important aspects of health and wellness: mindfulness, routine medical check-ups, and resilience. In essence, people with chronic diseases are diagnosed at late stages due to their failure in observing mindfulness in lifestyle and lacking plans for medical screening. Similarly, generations have changed in morals and habits due to the negligence of parents reason been tight working conditions. Indeed, lack of time is an unjustified excuse towards the bringing up of a child. A resilient person demonstrates the ability to develop strategies that can overcome undesired personality and experience and build connections with surroundings (Mansfield, Beltman, Broadley, &Weatherby-Fell, 2016). The changes in your attitude and that of your husband’s towards fitness as a result of your son show that health and wellness are circumstantial. Likewise, different professionals demonstrate various ways of dieting and exercising that is congenial to the development of desired skills and general outlook. Therefore, understanding different situations are of great significance in promoting health and wellness.
